No! OVAH is owned by an individual, Modesta Joseph is the founder, and she started this initiative when she was in form two at Kisutu Girls Secondary School.

Is it must to provide info’s like my name, phone number, and other identifying information when reporting a cry/abuse? No! it is not must to put your info’s, but If you report anonymously, we can’t help you directly – we can only use the report you submit for statistical purposes as well as punishing or warning the reported individual or organisation/institution/company etc which wronged you, But, if you provide us with your info’s it will be easy for us to help directly mostly when the cry/abuse is serious like rape.

You can get involved by helping out those who do not have internet access by giving them your device, you can also donate and share the news about our work to young girls and women.

YES WE DO! Donation to OVAH means giving Children their basic rights such as right to an adequate standard of living, quality education, protection from violence, exploitation and abuse, appropriate treatment by justice systems, free expression and so on. Once you donate to OVAH you are helping us serve more children in Tanzania. We need additional funds to be able to continue operating, At this time, though, we, unfortunately, do not yet have a way to accept secure and anonymous donations through an easy-to-use online button.
